The first quarter of 2023 saw significant activity in the Waifu games category in South America. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top 5 games, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Shinobu - Sweet time experienced a remarkable surge in downloads and active users towards the end of March. Weekly downloads jumped from around 58.5K to approximately 276.5K, and weekly active users rose from 56.8K to 325.1K by the final week of the quarter.

Honkai Impact 3rd had a fluctuating revenue trend, peaking at around $43.7K in mid-February before gradually decreasing to $6.7K by the end of March. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 9K to 14.4K per week. Active users showed a slight decline from 93.6K at the start of the year to 72.9K by the end of the quarter.

GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE had a varied performance in both revenue and user engagement. Weekly revenue ranged from a high of $27.1K at the beginning of January to $8.6K by the end of March. Downloads saw a peak of 9.5K in late February, while active users increased from 56.8K to 68.3K during the same period.

Eversoul showed a significant drop in downloads and revenue as the quarter progressed. Downloads started at 15.2K in early January but fell to just 230 by the end of March. Revenue also decreased from $9.2K to $542 over the same period. Active users declined from 12.7K to 5.3K.

Goddess Era: 2331 Draws had a relatively stable performance in terms of active users, maintaining around 19.5K to 20K throughout the quarter. Downloads, however, saw a gradual decline from 4.6K to 1.5K per week. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at $1.4K in late February before dropping to $318 by the end of March.
